Trip Overview
Everest View Trek is one of the best short treks in the Everest region which takes travelers to the wonderful Khumjung Village. Pass through the beautiful Sherpa settlements and spend some quality time at the vibrant Sherpa hub Namche. Take a short hike to Everest View Hotel to witness the incredible views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and other surrounding peaks. Then, take a short tour of the serene Khumjung village where you are welcomed by friendly locals. Enjoy the local food and interact with them. Visit the Khumjung Monastery which has a purported Yeti scalp.
Trekkers pass through beautiful Sherpa settlements during this Everest View Trek. Admire the hospitality of the friendly locals. Accommodation & Meals
Accommodation:
Teahouses or Lodges are accommodation types during the Everest View trek that provide basic facilities (beds, quilts, and pillows) but are comfortable to stay in. Generally, bathrooms are inside the teahouses except in the higher regions. During the peak season, room sharing must be done. Internet and phone networks are mostly stable in the lower regions. Pay an additional cost for services (Wi-Fi, laundry, hot water, and showers). Everest Links is an internet provider and there is Wi-Fi up to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp.
Meals:
3-course full board meals are served during the Everest View trek which are healthy and hygienic. Breakfast and dinner are served from the teahouses and lunch is served at the stopovers during the trek. Trekkers can munch on bakery items, continental foods, and coffee in Namche. There are a variety of meals to choose from on the menu. (Nepali Dal-Bhat, steamed mo: mo, hot thukpa, soup, porridge, pancake, hot coffee, ginger honey tea, etc.). Please inform your food menu preference earlier if there is any.
Drinking water:
Drinking water during the Everest View trek is easily available. Trekkers can buy Mineral Water, fill tap water, or boiled water at teahouses as their preference. Always carry a water bottle to minimize plastic pollution. Travelers can also use a water purification solution or buy mineral water which costs USD 1-2 per bottle.
Transportation
The transportation during the trek is as scheduled in the itinerary preferred by the travelers which is as follows:
- Private vehicle transfer to/from the airport in Kathmandu
- Private vehicle ride to Ramechhap and transfer to/from the airport (only during April, May, October, and November months)

Best Time
The ideal seasons for the Everest View Trek are Spring (Mar-May) and Autumn (Sep-Nov) as the weather and temperature are stable and offer incredible vistas. The winter and rainy seasons are riskier to trek due to the unstable weather and temperature, slippery trails, and limited availability of accommodation and services. There is a high chance of flight cancellation during monsoon and winter. Still, it is possible to trek with proper planning and preparation.

Everest View trek is a moderate-level trek with a maximum elevation of 3,790 m. Walking daily long hours on the steep ascending and descending rough trails and gaining altitude can be challenging for trekkers. This trek is suitable for trekkers with a medium level of physical fitness as it does not involve any technicality. Previous experience is preferable.

With proper preparation, physical fitness, and acclimatization, it is achievable. Your familiarity with the mountainous terrain and previous trekking experience will be plus points. Besides, maintaining good health and necessary check-ups before the trek proves to be fruitful. Some physical exercises and mental exercises to carry out before the treks are as follows:

Altitude Sickness
The maximum elevation during the Everest View trek is 3,790 m (Khumjung). Altitude sickness is common above 2500 m. As the elevation gains, there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness. Thus, acclimatization rest is essential to prevent it. Take an acclimatization rest as suggested in the itinerary during the trek.
Common symptoms of Altitude Sickness
Headache, nausea, dizziness, uneasiness, appetite, and sleep loss, and on extreme some can experience unconsciousness and hallucination.

Detail Itinerary
第 01 天 : Arrive in Kathmandu
As you enter Nepal via flight the magnificent snow-capped peaks welcome you. You are welcomed by our representative upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Get transferred to the standard hotel along with the representative via a private vehicle upon completing all the formalities. Overnight at the hotel.
第 02 天 : Trek preparation day (Optional: Sightseeing in Kathmandu, UNESCO world heritage sites)
A day is free to explore after completing all the trek preparations as your requirement. We take care of all your documentation processes (issuing trek permits and other works). Meanwhile, you can explore the city of temples Kathmandu and visit several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and other cultural sites. Also, you can visit vibrant local markets, cafes, and restaurants that offer authentic Nepalese cuisine and other continental foods.
In the afternoon, meet our team, and a trekking guide and hear the trek briefing. Make sure to pack only the necessary items and go shopping if you want anything. Back to the hotel, complete the final packing, and sleep comfortably to leave early the following day.

第 03 天 : Kathmandu - Lukla flight- Phakding trek
A short, 45-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2860 m), which itself offers majestic sceneries of the Himalayan Mountains, hills, and valleys lands you on the foot of the great Himalayas. Then walk along for about 3-4 hours to reach Phakding (2610 m), to be amid friendly Sherpas.
第 04 天 : Phakding - Namche Bazaar
This day involves walking along the Dudh Koshi River with intermittent ascents and descents through ridges and forests. After a final two-hour descent, Namche (3440m) is reached.
第 05 天 : Namche Bazaar – Khumjung - Namche
There is plenty to engage you in Namche, as this place has become somewhat of a resort town due to its location in the locus of all Everest treks. Or you can, for more fitness and adjustment to the altitude, go to Khumjung Village, Everest View Hotel, Syangboche Airport, or Thame to return to Namche Bazaar in the evening for an Overnight.
第 06 天 : Namche Bazaar - Lukla
This is our last day for the Trekking, we will stop at Phakding for Lunch and continue walking to Lukla, overnight at the Local Teahouse.
第 07 天 : Lukla - Kathmandu (flight)
As you tear yourself away from a superb locale of the whole earth, you can have passing moments of grandeur when you see the Himalayan range from your airplane. With your fancy soaring towards the peaks, you shall land in Kathmandu and start preparations for returning home. Check in to the Hotel in Kathmandu, evening join a Live Typical Nepali cultural dinner hosted by Outdoor Himalayan Treks.

Cancellation
- 20% of the trip cost will be charged for the confirmed trip getting canceled.
- 50% of the trip cost will be charged if canceled between 30 to 10 days before the trip departure date.
- No refund if canceled within 10 days of the trip date or in the case of not showing.
- Regrettably, in the case where the trek/tour cannot be completed due to the customer’s own problem, sickness, or unfavorable weather, there will be no refund.
- If the trekking/tour is extended more than the given itinerary extra charge will be applied accordingly.
- If the agreed trip cannot be organized due to bad weather or any unforeseen events, a similar trip will be organized (in mutual understanding with the travelers).
